The first season everyone gets a chance to fill their roster before we start to bid on players.
The way free agency works is if there is someone on the list that you want, you start a new topic titled with their position name and rating, like Al Wilson MLB 92. Then you say how many points you want to start the bidding at, each team gets 100 points a year. Someone else can come and outbid you. Bidding can be increased by 1 until it hits 10, then after 10 it has to be increased by at least 3 points. Whoever wins the bidding then gets the chance to sign the person to a contract using your contract points.
For Example, someone wants to bid on Al Wilson, a 92 MLB. They win the bid at 42 points, leaving them with 58 points for the rest of the season. After that, they can then go and sign the player. If they want to sign Al Wilson to a 3 year contract it would be 9.2*3=27.6 points. So then they had 150 contract points to start and now have 122.4.
